From Boat Race to Santa Run in one seamless move

Thank you to those who joined Barr Ellison Solicitors at the Bumps Boat Races at Fen Ditton on 12 June. It was delightful to catch up with over 200 guests on such a glorious day. For those who did not make it, we are hoping to see you there next year at this uniquely Cambridge event.

This is the second year running that Barr Ellison, NatWest and 35 Finance Limited have hosted this event for as many of our Cambridgeshire clients as we could squeeze in. Although a fun day, a significant amount of business was done too. These are tough economic times and every opportunity needs to be followed up. This is certainly the case for our local charities which are facing increased demand for their services.

One idea floated was to build on last year's Santa Run for the benefit of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH). EACH supports families throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs. This year's sponsored Santa Run will be on 13 December. It's more of a Santa Jog really and being only from the Grafton Centre to Parker's Piece, it is open to all ages. Last year, some parents even pushed along their young children in buggies. It's good fun and the Santa suit is provided by EACH for a small fee. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us and we will let you know how to sign up with EACH for this fun event.
