
Charlotte Mallett
Charlotte is an expert commercial property solicitor. Specialising in landlord and tenant matters and commercial property sales and purchases, recent transactions include:
- Acting on the sale of a restaurant business and associated assignment of the premises lease;
- Acting for a farmer landlord on the leases of industrial units to business tenants;
- Acting for a national charity on an underlease of their head office premises;
- Acting on behalf of a developer in the sale of a number of new build properties;
- Acting for a landlord in the sale of the freehold of a mix use commercial premises subject to existing leases; and
- Extending the leases of flats in two local residential developments on behalf of the management company freehold owners.
Charlotte joined Barr Ellison in October 2006, spending a year as a paralegal in the residential conveyancing department before commencing her Training Contract in October 2007. Charlotte qualified as a solicitor in April 2009.
Prior to this, Charlotte completed a BSc (honours) degree in Geography at Exeter University followed by a two year postgraduate law diploma at the College of Law in London.
