Peter Ayling

Peter has over forty years experience in Probate and Trust administration.  He has extensive experience in dealing with high value estates including those with complex Business and Agricultural Property elements.  Peter’s focus is to ensure that our clients have access to the expertise necessary to ensure mitigation of inheritance tax liabilities while ensuring that the clients’ position is fully protected.

Peter also advises on Wills and Inheritance Tax planning. 

Recent instructions have included:

  • Successfully negotiating with the Revenue to save clients substantial sums of Inheritance Tax.
  • Acting for a Canadian Law Firm to deal with the UK element of Canadian estates including the Inheritance Tax and Legal Title aspects.

Peter is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Peter trained in London and has worked in the South East but for the last thirty years in East Anglia.
